Minnesota Governor Tim Walz Is Bringing A Powerful Message Of Joy In 2024!

Tim Walz Is The Governor Of Minnesota

Kamala Harris has chosen Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to be her running mate in the 2024 Presidential elections!

He is a very popular governor. You can see why in this great video by Keith Edwards: 5 Minutes and 27 Seconds of Tim Walz Being AWESOME.

While he is most famous for signing a bill to guarantee free school lunches for every child in the state (that’s why the children are hugging him in that video!), he has also done many great things for the state of Minnesota!

His Accomplishments As Governor of Minnesota

Some of Tim Walz’s Signature Accomplishments:

  • Historic investments in education
  • Protecting personal freedoms
  • Improving public health and safety
  • Expanding workers’ rights
  • Strong communities and infrastructure
  • Tax cuts for working families and the middle class
  • Workforce development
  • Expanding voting rights
  • Lowering prescription drug costs
  • Protecting our environment
  • Cutting child poverty
  • Increasing access to affordable housing
  • Legalizing adult-use cannabis
  • Protecting Minnesota consumers
  • Protecting seniors

His Background

Walz was a member of the National Guard for 24 years and used the GI Bill to attend college.

He became a high school social studies teacher and football coach.

His football team had a losing record when he started coaching and three years later became state champions!

He was elected to Congress in 2006, serving in the House of Representatives from 2007 to 2019.

In 2018 he was elected Governor of Minnesota and was reelected in 2022.

He will be a GREAT Vice-President!
