My Two Weeks In Review (Since October started)

  1. Got both the flu shot and newest Covid shot at the same time. One in each arm, like I did last year. My arms really hurt just like last time and felt sick for a day. Much better now and I’m glad I got them. I’m one of those people who gets the flu easily if I don’t get the shot. One winter I had it THREE times. I haven’t had the flu for over 15 years now because of the vaccines.
  2. Wrote a post: Hamilton Broadway Cast Presents A Wonderful and Amazing Song About The Election of 2024!
  3. Wrote a post: John Oliver On A Terrifying Second Trump Term Using Project 2025
  4. Wrote a post: A Night at the Garden: A Frightening American Nazi Rally in 1939
  5. Wrote a post: All the Frequent Troubles of Our Days: The True Story of the American Woman at the Heart of the German Resistance to Hitler by Rebecca Donner (2021) | Book Review
  6. Have been text banking for Kamala Harris and other Democrats on an almost daily basis. Sending thousands of texts to get people registered to vote and encourage them to VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS.
  7. Will be phone banking for Harris on Sunday night (10/13). I am always nervous when I phone bank. I did attend a previous a previous Zoom call on Conquer Your Phonebanking Phear and it helped a lot. There is another session on October 19th.
  8. Taking a hiatus from my other blog New Jersey Memories until the election is over. I have plenty of photos and draft posts just waiting to be posted! Just too busy with election work and family obligations!

Current Reading

I’m currently reading Sedition Hunters: How January 6th Broke the Justice System by Ryan Reilly and planning a book review.

Also reading All in the Family: The Trumps and How We Got This Way by Fred C. Trump III.
