I read the Percy book, but did not get much out of it — but the same is true of the other Percy title I tried. He may be one of those authors whom I’m just not ready for yet..

I’ve read a few of these – several are quite melancholy which makes me feel like winter, not fall! However, the Ravioli book sounds quite lively! I used to work in Hoboken, right on the river. We had a cafeteria and I was super busy so rarely left the building at lunch but there was an Italian bakery that sold pepperoni bread, which I loved. I can imagine the Ravioli family shopping there. I tried to replicate the bread during the pandemic but it didn’t work and I’ve never found it anywhere else.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
